Alnwick Town Trail
The brief was to create a trail for visitors to Alnwick to follow and discover the history of our town. The work was commissioned by the Alnwick Community Development Trust and was based on an existing illustration of the town which had been used on previous posters and maps.
Alnwick has a 1000 year history and we decided to include a brief outline of this in the leaflet as added value and information.
We also added a guide to walks further out from the town.
A format was decided upon and the text written, mainly by our County Councillor, Gordon Castle. Photography was supplied by myself and Kevin Temple, an Alnwick Photographer.
The trail was tested out by Girl Guides and launched to the public, priced at £1, in August 2009.
Alnwick Road Train
ACDT asked me to do some work on promoting the Road Train which briefly appeared in Alnwick.
